Bayside offers a variety of housing options, including single detached homes, duplexes, townhouses, and lofts with multiple-bedroom layouts. Its quiet atmosphere is enhanced by numerous tree-lined streets and abundant greenery in around ten nearby parks, such as Crocheron Park and Cross Island Parkway. Daily needs are supported by many nearby grocery stores, specialty shops, restaurants, and cafes. Bayside is a reasonably good neighborhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This neighborhood features a fair amount of greenery; there are approximately 10 parks nearby for residents to relax in, such as Crocheron Park and Alley Park, which makes them very easy to get to. Moreover, residents will find that the tree canopy coverage for a lot of streets is good. This neighborhood is also quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case near the railway line, Long Island Expy or Clearview Expy.
